If only one would look amazing without the time consuming application of makeup! Makeup application takes an average of 20 minutes. Sometimes you just don’t have enough time to do your makeup. Here are a few tricks that help make this practice a little less daunting.
Wing it! Quick Winged Eyeliner with a Spoon
This is done by placing a spoon against the lashes and applying the eyeliner against the curve of the spoon producing a perfect wing.
#Hashtag for a Smokey Eye
Draw a hashtag on at the outer corner your eyelid and then blend it out resulting in a quick smoky eye.
X Marks the Spot for a Perfect Pout!
Draw an X on your upper lip and use it as the building point for lipstick application resulting in a perfect pout.
Looooonger Lipstick Time
After applying your lipstick stick a tissue paper to your lips and dust finishing powder through it onto your lips.
Outline your Wings
Draw an outline with an eye pencil to make an outline of your wings, then fill the outline in with the pencil, for a super quick cat’s eye.
White Out for Brilliance
Make your eye shadow more brilliant by first applying white eyeliner on the lids and then putting on the shadow over it.
One for All
Only have room to pack one item? Pack your eye shadow palette. Since all the colors in the palette complement each other, you can use these items for everything from blush to contouring and, of course, eyes.
Contouring in a Jiffy
For easy contouring, place an eyeliner pencil below the cheekbone to get the right angle. You can then use your blush or bronzer along this angle.
Cover Up those Dark Circles
Make a drooping triangle with the eye lash line, with a concealer or concealer pencil, and make an upside down triangle point towards the cheek. Fill the triangle with your concealer to give an even color over a larger area.
Flame Up your Eyeliner
Soften an eyeliner pencil’s hard point by holding it against a flame, such as a match flame, to soften it. Apply as usual.
Blot your Face without Blotting Paper
In the need for a quick freshening up and find yourself at a lack of blotting paper? Use tissue paper or toilet seat covers. Theses papers are made from same material as blotting paper and will absorb oils perfectly.
Map out your Contouring
Use a gel eyebrow pencil to outline your face contours. It blends well with concealers and other makeup.
Plump Out your Eyelashes
Dusting translucent finishing powder on before applying your mascara will result in plumped out eyelashes.
